The 2016 Bordeaux Tour, conducted by ombiasy WineTours, included a stop at Cooperage Berger et Fils in Vertheuil where visitors toured the barrel-making facilities that were recently acquired by TFF Group from Rene and Valerie Berger. Photographs from the 2016 tour are complemented by a narration originally proved by the Bergers describing the process of hand-crafting a wine barrel. Only the finest oak is used, and each shipment is carefully chosen and annotated as it cures for 3 years before being used in the company’s famous fine wine barrels.
