Susie Hollands, now a leading real estate agent in Paris, immigrated to France in 2003 from Scotland. With her deep passion for arts, she started a gallery to promote arts of the less known artists. Alongside the gallery, she started an English language blog that eventually turned to a successful online magazine. However, the income from both was not sufficient for her and her mind-year old daughter. Through helping friends who were struggling to find a residence, Susie got an idea. She started a boutique estate agency to complement her blog. Despite the daunting paperwork and the needed skills, Susie managed to succeed in the normally make denominated field, thanks to her ethics and entrepreneurial spirit. With their online magazine and the market prediction of good prices in the autumn, Susie’s real estate, VINGT Paris, is anticipating even more success.
“When Susie Hollands arrived in Paris from her native Scotland in 2003, she’s the first to admit that running one of the city’s leading property companies was not part of the plan.”
