A new high speed train will soon be carrying passengers from Paris to Bordeaux and Rennes in France. The train, which opens starting July 2nd, will severely shorten the travel time from Paris to either of those cities. Previously, the trip from Paris to Rennes, would have taken north of two hours, however with the new high speed train, it should only take approximately 1 and a half hours. The trip from Paris to Bordeaux will be shortened from over three hours to just over two hours.
