Eleanor of Aquitaine, also known as the Queen Consort of France, died in 1204. In her 82 years, she lived a fascinating life outliving many of her children. Eleanor was quite well-rounded and loved hunting, hawking, arts and music. She grew up in southern France and went from being the more eligible bride in the world, to being jailed by her second husband for instigating a rebellion where three of her sons trying to unseat their father.
