High ticket coaching is not for everybody…
High ticket coaching is not for everybody. It's not for apprentices. You have to have done 10,000 hours of deliberate practice. You’d never believe that if you spent 5 minutes reading my Newsfeed.
There are coaches pushing the idea that you could be raking in 10, 20 or even 50 thousand a month.
Just by bringing onboard one, two, or three clients.
There's more to it than they make out...
You can’t just wake up, smell the coffee and start attracting clients who are willing to pay you 5 figures for two or three coaching sessions.
It takes time for you to position yourself
Time for you to refine your method… And prove it works.
It takes time for you to build up a core group of superfans (satisfied clients).
Time for you to dial your offer in on one high-value challenge.
Time to hone your skills, too...
In his book, ‘Outliers’ Richard Gladwell tells us we need 10,000 hours of ‘deliberate practice’.
I see this quoted over and over again by coaches wanting to help prospects decide whether they qualify for their high ticket offer.
Yet, that is only half the story.
Mastery is more than a matter of practice.
"There is no doubt that deliberate practice is important, from both a statistical and a theoretical perspective. It is just less important than has been argued," says lead author of a Princeton meta-study, Brooke Macnamara.
I could play chess for 100 years and never become a grandmaster.
You have to discover the limit to your skillset…
Hone your natural talent.
And focus your effort on what you do best.
And that really does take time (and deliberate practice) though not necessarily 10,000 hours.
So this is all about you.
Your natural abilities.
Honing your skill set.
And the results you have helped your clients achieve.
People don’t care who you are.
They only have one question…
“Can you solve my problem?”
If you can, they are prepared to pay whatever it takes to have you help them put that problem behind them.
This may leave you wondering why you, the expert service provider with countless hours under your belt, are not doing as well as you think you should be…
And this leaves me asking you, whether you have positioned yourself as well as you possibly can?
The process may seem simple
Yet it is the foundation of any successful business so applies to a new startup just as much as to a solopreneur who has been out there honing their skill set for years.
- You have to be clear about what your superpower truly is.
This is an emergent property. The sum of the parts is greater than the individual pieces. It is the transformation you achieve for your clients. if you haven't nailed this confusion is what follows. - You have to be clear about who your ideal client REALLY is.
We all know we have to identify our ideal client but most stop long before they can be truly specific about who this is so when they reach out they only touch fresh air. This is the #1 thing that stops a business from growing. - You need an offer that is truly compelling.
This is about keeping it simple. Putting your finger on the essence of what you achieve and leaving everything else out. Getting this right makes average marketing look great. - You need to be able to communicate your value.
This is not rocket science but you do have to love writing and sharing your expertise and experience with your audience in the way that serves them best. This is not about your product as much as giving your people a greater understanding of what they are up against. - You need a reliable way of attracting new clients without having to spend a dime on advertising.
This is a simple process that many coaches complicate. Your goal is to make sure that as many people as possible see what you have written. Doing this requires consistency and persistence and an understanding that those who get tons of engagement are often treading water when it comes to clients.
This is the exact same process...
What I have outlined is, in fact, exactly the same process that I use in my business to attract high-level clients consistently and achieve a 5-figure monthly income part-time (25 - 30 hours a week).
If this sounds like your cup of tea, check out my invitation to join my 60-day Digital Business Strategy Workshop.
You get weekly 1-2-1 calls with me, detailed assignments and guidelines for everything, and unlimited private access to me in Messenger in between calls.
You receive detailed feedback from me at every stage and in particular on as many posts as you wish to write for my review.
Note: This piece comprises about half of the program.
Practice makes perfect.
The more you write, the more you will get out of this.
You’ll be amazed at how many nits I pick out of your copy to ensure that you are precise in your wording yet natural with your language.
To benefit from this offer, the investment is $7k, which is a ridiculous steal for six months of 1-2-1 coaching, given how many of the aforementioned programs out there charge higher fees for coaching on methods that you may have already proven to your own satisfaction do not work.
To take the next steps, send me a PM on Messenger and we’ll chat over Messenger to see if it’s a fit.
I’ve noticed that there is a very particular profile of person who does best in this program, and I can tell with a pretty short dialogue whether you’d be a good fit or not.
If you do, we can get you started in the program immediately!
Thank you, and I look forward to chatting with you!
